What we collect
Nothing.
The full policy
- The app collects no analytics, identifiers, telemetry, advertising data, or third-party tracking. There are no accounts to create and no servers to sign in to.
- All receiver and Apple TV control happens on your local network. Power, volume, input switching, surround mode, pairing, and remote-control commands travel as HTTP or Apple device-pairing traffic between this app and your hardware — they never leave your Wi-Fi.
- When you browse a HEOS streaming source (Qobuz, TIDAL, Amazon Music, TuneIn, and so on), iOS loads album art directly from the image URLs the music service publishes in its catalog responses, in the usual way. Apple TV now-playing artwork is delivered in-band as part of the device's pairing-protocol stream — no internet fetch happens for Apple TV content. All image loads are anonymous: no user identifier, no account info, no analytics attached.
- Saved receivers (name, local IP) and app preferences (theme, polling interval, haptics, and similar choices) are stored in an on-device SwiftData database. Nothing is uploaded.
- Apple TV pairing credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. They are encrypted by the system and accessible only to Dirigo.
- The Home Screen widget reads the active receiver's state from a private App Group container shared between Dirigo and the widget extension. The App Group is part of this app's signing entitlement and is not accessible to any other app or to the network.
- On first launch the app requests Local Network permission so it can discover your receiver and Apple TV via Bonjour and SSDP. Granting it does not let the app reach anything beyond your local network.
- The app contains no in-app purchases, no subscription, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
